The
north of Tasmania has an ideal climate and environment for the production
of a wide range of temperate crops, ranging from pasture seeds and
canola through to cereals such as oats and lupins. Our temperate climate
creates ideal growing and harvesting conditions and allows off-season
production for the northern hemisphere.

Tasmania’s
isolation (300km south of mainland Australia – 45 minutes flying
time) and our strong quarantine barriers reduce the risks of introduced
pests and diseases, in particular weeds.
Ardent
